Last Date 15/09/2023 to apply for 332 Inspector (B), Sub-Inspector (B), Head Constable (B) and Constable (B) posts in Assam Police Border Organization.

Job invitation only for Ex-Servicemen (Army/Navy/Air Force) ordinarily domiciled in the State of Assam.

Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfil the Hiring eligibility criteria for the post as on the date of eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam Police Ex-Servicemen Recruitment 2023

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not more than 50 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or after 01.01.1973.

Educational Qualification: 

 

Civil Education (For all posts): HSLC or equivalent.

Service Qualification :

(i) For the posts of Constable & Head Constable: Those who retired in the rank of Sepoy to Havildar in Army or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force.

(ii) For the posts of Sub-Inspector & Inspector: Those who retired in the rank of Naib Subedar or above in Army or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force.

Note: Ex-Servicemen who retired as Havildar or equivalent rank but put in service of 15 years or more will have the option to apply for the post of Sub-Inspector instead of Const/HC, but not for both.
