Assam CEE Notification 2021 : Combined Entrance Examination (CEE)  is the entrance examination organised by Govt. of Assam for admission in to various B.Tech. programme in the engineering colleges of Assam organized by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).

CEE 2021 Assam Eligibility Criteria

Resident-ship

The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam.

Age Limit

The Candidate must not be above 21 years or below 17 years of age as on 1st August 2019.

Age Relaxation: Upper age limit mentioned above is relaxed to 22 years in case of B.Sc. passed Candidates. Upper age limit mentioned in (d) above is relaxed by 3 years for Scheduled Cast and Scheduled Tribe candidates.

Educational Qualification

Candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination individually in the same sitting without any grace marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with a minimum of 50 % (45 % in case of SC and 40 % in case of ST) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The same sitting means a candidate must appear all the four subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English together.

Assam CEE 2021 Exam Syllabus Details

 The CEE 2021 will be conducted as per the latest syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.

Paper shall be of three (3) hours duration and shall contain 120 multiple choice questions each carrying one mark. Four (4) marks will be awarded for every right answer and one (1) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There shall be no marks, in case, the candidate selects more than one option in the answer sheet. CEE-2020 will be based on Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) Syllabus .

The examination will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Type and comprise of a Single Paper of 3 (three) hours duration with following distribution:

Mathematics 40 Questions

Physics 40 Questions

Chemistry 40 Questions

4 (four) marks will be awarded for every correctanswer and 1(one) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer

Interested and eligible candidates who have passed or appearing in 10+2 exam may apply online for appearing this entrance examination. 

Step 1. Candidates can click on the Apply Online Link below to directly apply or can visit must astu.ac.in.

Step2: Click on the Application Form Tab

Step 3: Read the Instructions carefully before online form filling

Step 4: Click on Next and fill up the form and submit

Step 5: Pay the examination feeRs. 750,through online payment facility, which is available on the website

Step 6: Take printout of Application Form for personal record

NB: 

1.Copy of Application Form or any other document should not be sentto this office. However, candidates may take printout of Application Form for his/her personal record.

2.Admit cards/ hall tickets need to be downloaded from the website (www.astu.ac.in) by login with “Application number” and “Password”
