Indian Navy Hiring Sailor Notification 2021 Details

Vacancy Details:
- Name of post: Sailor AA & SSR
- No of posts: 2500
- Artificer Apprentice (AA): 500
- Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR): 2000
Indian Navy Sailor Salary Details:
- Pay & Allowances: During the initial training period, a stipend of ₹ 14,600/- per month will be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹ 21,700- ₹ 69,100). In addition, they will be paid MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable) plus ‘X’ Group pay {only for Artificer Apprentice (AA)} @ ₹ 3600/- per month plus DA (as applicable) as under trainee and ₹ 6200/- per month plus DA on successful completion of AICTE recognized Diploma Course.
Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy Sailor AA & SSR:
Educational Qualification:
- AA: Qualified in 10+2 examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.
- SSR: Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and atleast one of these subjects: - Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.
Indian Navy Sailor AA & SSR Age Limit:
- Candidates should be born between 01 Feb 2002 to 31 Jul 2005 (Both dates inclusive).
Important Dates:
- Starting date of submission of online application: 16th October 2021
- Last date of submission of online application: 25th October 2021
Selection Procedure:
- The details of the written examination to be conducted to select the eligible candidates for this recruitment is as mentioned below.
- Medium of Exam: The question paper will be bilingual - Hindi and English.
- Type of Question: The questions will be of objective type.
- Syllabus: The question paper consists of four sections i.e. English, Science & Mathematics and General Knowledge. All questions will be 12th level questions.
- Duration of Exam: The duration of the AA & SSR examination will be of one hour.
- Maximum Marks: The maximum marks of the said exam will be 100 marks.
- Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for selection. The details of PFT is as mentioned below.
- Running: Candidates will have to complete 1.6 Km race within 7 minutes.
- Squat and Push-ups: Candidates will have to complete 20 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 push-ups.
