The Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Assam, has announced the admission for the one-year Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) Training Course in Elementary Knowledge of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science for the academic session 2025-26. The course will be conducted at the School of Veterinary Science & A.H. at Ghungoor, Silchar, Assam.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: HSSLC (Science) passed with Biology as a subject from a recognized University/Board.
- Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years as on 01/01/2025.

- SC/ST (P)/ST (H): 5 years
- Residency: Permanent residents of Assam must upload a scanned copy of the Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) along with the online application.
